So today I build the nerve to ask my boss for time off for Carnival '08. I well ask for a month but knew it wouldn't fly so I tried for 3 weeks but it look like they only giving me 2. But I will be happy with that - got to be greatful that I able to reach three years in a row.

good luck! 2 weeks is ok! but yuh know 1 month would ah been better.
I just spoiled I get accustom to going for a moth the past 2 years so me not sure bout this 2 week thing but its gonna have to work. I love the pre fetes and I also love spending time in Tobago after to unwind before I get back to life over here.
2 weeks puts you in the position of deciding if to go 2 weeks before carnival and hit as many fetes as possible, or go latter, miss some fetes and hit Tobago after. As far as decisions go, thats not such a bad one to have to make
2 weeks is still good (better than nothing, like us :( :(), I'd go before to go to some fetes & a day or 2 in T'go is good.
I know guys that is my only decision I need to make I love the fetes but will miss Tobago if I dont make it
I will probably go a week before to get some fetes enjoy Monday Tuesday and ASh Wednesday then go to Tobago Thursday - Sun cause they have the Wet Fete there which is a nice time as well. I have made many friends over the years in Tobago and need to look for them as well
You go, girl!!! Have yourself a time!!!! And yes, I cannot halp but chime in with everyone else with this but, 2 weeks is indeed better than nothing. I want sooooo badly to go to Carnival next year... but I eh too sure... unless (well, you already know the deal with that...;-)..)
